At Muzium, all Korean voice recordings are conducted directly at our studio, overseen by our in-house PD.

Korean voice actors can generally be divided into two main categories: those affiliated with the Korean Voice Actors Association and non-affiliated voice actors (including indie, amateur, and freelance talents). These categories can be further segmented based on popularity and cost.

Association Voice Actors

Association voice actors are known for their professionalism and high quality, making them suitable for large-scale projects or content that requires top-notch quality or recognizable talent.

Non-Association Voice Actors (Indie, Amateur, Freelance, etc.)

Non-association voice actors offer more affordable recording options, and you can find fresh and distinctive voices among them.

Currently, Muzium collaborates with over 200 association and non-association voice actors on various projects. Our strength lies in accurately understanding each voice actor’s character, voice, and popularity to deliver content that goes beyond just a voice.

To cast the right voice actor for the content, it is essential not only to understand the voice actor but also to grasp the core of the content. At Muzium, we thoroughly analyze the content during the pre-production stage to recommend the most suitable voice actors based on the budget and the nature of the content.

When it comes to native speaker voice recording, there are two options: conducting the recording abroad or domestically in Korea.

Although the number of native speakers in Korea is limited, the advantage of recording domestically is the ability to attend the recording session in person. This allows for more active involvement in the recording process and immediate feedback, resulting in a higher quality outcome.

Muzium has a large pool of native speakers available in Korea, allowing us to recommend the best voice actors based on the client’s needs and budget. Native speakers can accurately capture unique pronunciations and intonations, greatly aiding in the localization of content.

For Japanese and Chinese, we collaborate with studios of various scales in their respective regions to conduct a wide range of localization voice over recordings.

We provide localized voice over recordings optimized for the region, featuring talent ranging from rookie voice actors to top-tier professionals actively working in major media such as Netflix productions and subculture games.

When multiple foreign language voice actors are needed, when dealing with uncommon languages, or for large-scale projects, it can be more effective to hire voice actors abroad and conduct the recording overseas.

We can work with freelance voice actors or partner studios overseas, and depending on the situation and budget, achieve better results through remote online streaming sessions. Currently, Muzium collaborates with numerous international freelance voice actors and local studios on a variety of projects. For native-speaking freelance voice actors abroad, we provide voice over services through our proprietary WorldVoice platform.

For translation needs, Muzium offers a turnkey solution that covers everything from translation to multilingual voice recording. Our comprehensive services include domestic translation, native speaker proofreading, overseas recording supervision, and localization. Currently, we focus on localization in English, Chinese, and Japanese, and we plan to continue expanding our service languages.
